Vishwakarma Yojna

The technical know-how of the students of engineering institutions can be utilized for the overall development of the villages in the State. The proposed Project can be prepared in such a way that the institutions can adopt the selected villages to identify the need of the village in infrastructure, transfer the know-how of these institutions to need people and also they can train according to the need of such villages.

Public Private Partnership (PPP)

Introduced PPP model in the year 2011-12 to establish 12 new Degree (Jamnagar, Porbandar, Surendarnagar, Junagadh, Mehsana, Amreli, Kapadwanj, Khambhat, Padra, Navsari, Rajpipla and vyara) & 09 new Diploma Engineering institutions (Rajula, Khambhat, Lakhpat, Dwarka, Vagra, Gandevi, Vadali, Veraval and Mandvi). Total Rs. 59.51 Cr. Provision made to start new PPP colleges.Selected Institute under PPP mode will be provided 10 acre land and Rs. 10.00 Cr for degree institute. Diploma colleges will be provided 5 acre land and Rs. 5.00 Cr by State Government.Institute started under PPP mode for degree and diploma institutes will provide land required for a period of 30 years at a token amount of Rs. 1 as per Revenue Department GR dated. 12/11/2010.

Techno Seva

Government of Gujarat is celebrating Golden Jubilee in the year 2010. Series of development work is in progress at various Urban Local Bodies in the State which has witnessed immeasurable growth in last five years. As a matter of fact, in such works, which are on hand at ULBs, there exists an immense scope to participate and to gain the actual field experience for the technical students of the respective fields. The Technoseva scheme was implemented as follows:

First Batch : 5th Feb 2009 to 31st May 2009

Fifth Batch : 27th February 2012 to 28th April 2012
